Where do you all have your photos hosted at? My photo host I am using for the banner at the top of the screen keeps telling me I've transfered too much data and giving me the red X you see up top sometimes. VERY frustrating

VERY frustrating Jason..I have some at my free websapce from my isp..example...aol gives free web space for every screen name..I do a non-published page for photos I need to post somewhere..that way there is limited bandwith use as some isp's limit that

I've tried several free services but all have either disallowed remote linking or have greatly restricted allowed bandwidth. I still use www.sighost.us/ for a few things, but I ended switching to paid hosting for my website and the images I need to remote link from there. The paid service that I am using for my site is www.ipowerweb.com/

Hi, Don't exactly know what you mean about remote linking. Computer dumb!! I use it to upload pics and put them in an albumn and then you can get the, what they call it, the auction link for that photo. Not sure how long it stays on there. I guess I need to read the FAQ section. Here is the link to it: www.photoisland.comLynn

I did notice that they give you 10MB of free space. If you run out of that much they do charge $19.99 for 50MB and up for more. I went to my account and I had used .83MB so I deleted some of my older pics and my unused space went up again. I will just need to remember to delete the pics when I no longer need them so I can keep enough free space without using it up.

Remote linking is having the picture show up on a different site than photoisland.com

I am still searching for video hosting..sigh...my videos need a home apart from my websites, lol..I would imbed a player, but the bandwith limitations prevent this...HEAVY SIGH
