Old radios are a very cool collectible. They come in a variety of sizes and colors, and even shapes. They are all very popular. Some of my favorites are the ones from the 1950's that remind me old '57 Chevys when I look at them. I also really like the big radios that are about three foot tall and wooden. Please post any facts or stories of favorite radios that you have in your collection.

I can't decide if I like the wooden ones more or the bakelite.

NICE! Its hard to find the bakelite without any chips. It sounds like alot of us have the same tastes Good luck with the console. You'll have to take some before and after pics!

If the image is saved on the net you can use the picture looking button at the reply manu and put the web address in place of url. Otherwise I don't know how to get it on myself

I purchased an old wooden radio at an auction several weeks back and can't find out much about it. If anyone has any info on a Teletone tube radio, I would appreciate it.

Does anyone have any information on Catalin radios? I'm not sure if it is a brand name or a type. I saw a few for sale for very high dollar. They were really neat with a green marbled look.
